Chris has worked across Auckland’s property development and project management sector since 2014, contributing to the delivery of more than $300m in residential housing. His experience spans the full development lifecycle, from land acquisition and design through consenting, procurement, sales and project handover. Chris brings a commercially focused, hands-on approach, connecting technical detail, design quality and market realities to help projects move forward successfully.

Sunil Bakshi BBSc, BAS, MArch(Prof)(Merit)

Sunil brings more than a decade of experience across architecture, property development, planning and regulatory compliance. He has helped lead the design and delivery of over $375m in built projects, combining strong design thinking with a practical understanding of buildability, cost and commercial outcomes. A registered LBP designer and NZIA member, Sunil is also a former lecturer and published author known for his considered, solutions-focused approach.

Halo operates within New Zealand’s highly regulated electricity-market framework as an electricity distributor and reconciliation participant.


Our distributor and reconciliation functions are independently audited against the Electricity Industry Participation Code and reviewed through the Electricity Authority’s compliance framework, with recent reviews recognising Halo’s ongoing high level of compliance.


As distributor, Halo establishes ICP identifiers, maintains electricity registry and network supply-point information, and manages the information required to support electricity trading.


This regulatory oversight is matched by technical controls across the physical network — including specialist electrical engineering input, authorised electrical construction, documented testing and certification, and independent inspection where required before energisation.


INDEPENDENT REGULATORY AUDIT

Halo’s distributor and reconciliation functions are independently audited against the Electricity Industry Participation Code.

Developers, residents and retailers therefore have a clearly identified network operator with responsibility for the infrastructure beyond project completion.
